Headhunter
A headhunter is another name for a recruiter who fills positions for employers. Usually, the company pays for this service. Although people looking for work will contact headhunters to tell them they're available, just as often, headhunters will seek out certain high-profile employees or executives in an industry and tell them, "Company X needs a new head of IT. Are you interested?"
