M.B.A.
The Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) is a degree that prepares students for managerial or administrative careers. It usually takes one to two years of full-time study to earn an M.B.A. in the U.K., though there are many part-time programmes. Many graduate schools of business prefer that students rack up four to five years of work experience before applying. The cost of getting an M.B.A. can be significant, typically between £15,000 and £20,000, and course fees from a top university could be even higher.
The number of years required varies from country to country. In India, for instance, institutions offer a two-year degree, although one-year degrees are also available, especially for those with work experience. Long-distance and online degrees are also proliferating.
