Partial Disability
If you are disabled and can work either part time or full time but with a loss of earnings, your disability insurance policy may categorise you as having a partial disability, in which case you would still be eligible for limited benefits under the plan. Not all disability insurance carriers use this terminology to describe a work situation, but most provide some type of benefit to encourage a return to work.
